Hello Sir i got call from NIT-Jalandhar EC branch. my gate score is 573 and air is 2667, should i take admission or should i wait for other NITs Merit list? Is NIT jalandhar good for M. TECH?? Should i take admission or look for some other option??

It depends on individual to individual. You must have your limitations. But, if you take my advice, i would suggest you to take admission in National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar. There are thousands of candidates waiting to get admission in any of the NIT centers, but few get through.

If you do not go for the counselling session, your seat would be allotted to someone else in waiting. Later if you do not get a call from any other NIT centre, you will repent. Hence, go for the admission, if you can afford studying from NIT, Jalandhar.

All the centres of NIT across India approximately have the same standard of faculty members and the facilities. Hence, doing M.Tech degree course would not have a better option than studying at NIT. National Institute of Technology is almost as good as Indian Institute of Technology (IIT).

i have scored 353 in gate2012.....am i eligible for nit jalandhar??

Iam from chennai. My Jee main state rank is 7511 and my SC category rank is 243. shall I get any of NITs Trichy, Calicut and Nagpur.
