Which are the specialization available in Polytechnic Diploma?


I wanted to study a Polytechnic Diploma course. What does Polytechnic means? What is the value of Polytechnic Diploma courses? Which are the specialization available in Polytechnic Diploma in India? Which has more scope and more job opportunities?

Polytechnic is actually a Diploma course in Engineering. In this graduation course, students get some basic knowledge related to Computing, Mathematical Techniques, Communication in English, Engineering, etc. This knowledge help them to get job easily in respective sector.

Polytechnic can be pursued after 10th standard and admission is based on merit basis of 10th marks.

There are numerous specializations in Polytechnic which candidate can pursue. I have listed below popular specilizations which have higher job opportunities.

Polytechnic is a multi speciality technical course which provide skill development and practical training. You can get admission in a polytechnic course after 10th class and qualifying a diploma entry exam. There are more than 30 Polytechnic diploma courses available in India. Some of them are:
Architectural Assistantship
Civil Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Instrumentation & Control
Mechanical Engineering
Information Technology
Computer Science & Engineering
Chemical Engineering
Dairy Engineering
Textile Technology

All specialisation have their own pros and cons and different level of competition. Most popular diplomas are in civil, electrical and mechanical engineering.
