Hi could any one tell me if ssc coaching could also help in cracking Combined defence services examination or vice versa? Thank you in advance

SSC coaching will definitely help you in cracking the written test of Combined Defence Services exam which consists of questions from:

1. Mathematics.

2. General knowledge.

3. English.

But for Service Selection Board, you must get a training or coaching of 15-20 days if you clear written test at coaching institutes like Baalnoi Academy etc.

Similarly coaching for CDS exam can also help you crack SSC exams.

According to my knowledge if you are determined to crack the Combined Defence Services Exam then SSC coaching will be really beneficial to you to crack the exam as there only you will get the tips and shortcut methods how to solve the questions within less time of period.

Combined Defence Service examination is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) once in a year for recruitment in Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Indian Air Force and Officers Training Academy.
Eligibility to appear in C.D.S examination are
-Candidate must be a citizen of India
-Candidate must be of age 18-23 years for IMA and INA while 20-24 years for Indian Air Force and 18-24 years for Officers Training Academy.
-Candidate must holds Bachelor degree in any disciple from a recognized university for applying to IMA and Officers Training Academy while Bachelor of Engineering for Naval Academy and Bachelor of Engineering or any degree from university with Physics and Mathematics at Higher Secondary for Air Force Academy.

To qualify in any examination, candidate need to prepare according to the syllabus provided for the examination.
So, preparing for CDS will not help much but will help only in General Science paper and also their standards are different.So, it will be better to choose any of the course and prepare for it well instead of going for two examination having different syllabus at same time.

Yes it will help you a lot to cracking the combined defense services and also some other examination. The CDS exam consist of three exams: Mathematics, English, General Knowledge. And all of these you study in your SSC Coaching so you will learn a lot in your coaching that will definitely helps you in your other exams also. And do one thing, try to update your regarding general knowledge and current affairs as much as you can because the general knowledge has no limit the question are comes from any sector, so you have to be prepared for that.
