Steps to become an IAS Officer for 12th Arts student?
Sir, I am a student of 12th standard, studying with Arts stream. I am a Christian by birth and I want to become an IAS Officer. I would like to know about the steps through which I can achieve my aim. Kindly tell me asap.

To become an IAS Officer you have to appear and qualify in Civil Service Examination. The examination is conducted by UPSC.
The minimum eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university. The age limit to appear in the examination is that 21-32 years with relaxation for reserved category. So, you have to pursue bachelor degree to appear in the examination. To become an IAS officer after completion of your 12th standard with Arts stream, you have to pursue Bachelor's degree course in any discipline from a Government recognised university. You have to appear in UPSC IAS examination to become an IAS officer. You have to qualify the preliminary examination, main examination and personal interview rounds to become an IAS officer.
