Which stream candidates are eligible to get into Indian Navy?
Hi, I have recently qualified my 12th Board exams from Commerce stream and now I wish to join Indian Navy. Am I eligible for it? Or, only Science stream candidates are allowed to join Indian Navy?

Note that students who have completed their 10+2 with PCM (i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) stream are eligible for joining Indian Navy via NDA exam.
Physics and Mathematics are must subjects to be eligible for Indian Navy wing through NDA exam. If you are from commerce stream, then you can apply for Army wing of NDA only. |

Eligibility criteria to apply for Indian Navy:-
Educational qualification:- Those candidates who have completed 12th or equivalent exam from a recognised board or university with minimum 70% aggregate in physics, chemistry and maths and at least 50% marks in class 10th and 12th . Age limit:- Minimum age limit is between 16.5 and maximum age limit is 19 years . Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to apply. |
