what stream should I choose in 11th to become an ias ? can a medical student be an ias ?

Gradautes in any subject can try for IAS. In 11th, you can select any of the subjects. Graduates in medicine or related streams can also apply. Age of the applicant must be less than 30 years. Concession in age is given for reserved category candidates.

IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service
This exam is conducted by UPSC every year.


Eligibility :

* A candidate must have completed their graduation Degree in any Discipline ( in any stream ) with atlest 55% from recognise universities.

* Final year students are also applicable.



Age Limit:

* General category student:- 21 to 30 years
* OBC category student:- 21to 33 years
* SC/ST category student:- 21 to 35 years


No. Attempt:

* General - maximum 4 times
* OBC - maximum 7 times
* SC/ST - No limit


Exam Pattern:

* Preliminary Exam.
* Main Exam
* Interview

You can choose any stream in class eleven.The minimum qualification to write ias exam is to have a graduation in any discipline.And you should have completed the age of eighteen.It is most preferable to choose agriculture .Because it has seventy contents which makes you half ready to write the ias exam when finished the agriculture.

If we are in class 9 what subjects should I look more deeply so as to do some practice to become ias officer
