Civil Services Main Examination: Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science (Paper I) Papers
Civil Services Examination is one of the toughest exams of our country. The exam is conducted every year by UPSC. There are many subjects which the students can choose from as their optional subjects. In the main examination, students have to choose two optional papers. Students who have studied animal husbandry or have studied veterinary sciences can take Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science as their optional paper. This subject is not much chosen as this needs specialization. The pattern of the exam is given below.
The examination is of duration three hours and the maximum marks are 300. There are eight questions in the question paper. The paper is divided into two sections with each section having four questions. Question numbers 1 and 5 are compulsory. Students have to answer three more questions, at least taking one question from each section. The question paper is given in both Hindi and English. Students can answer in the language which they have specified before. Each question is of 60 marks. The questions are further divided into smaller parts. The questions are all subjective types. Short notes are also given, usually each carrying 20 marks. Tremendous amount of hard work and dedication is required to crack this exam.
