Re: Which stream should I choose to become an astronaut?
To become an Astronaut, you must choose Science branch with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as your primary subject.
Because, you will have to take admission in Aeronautical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering branch while pursuing Engineering course. And you can get admission in Engineering college only if you have these subjects in your 10+2 stream. Also, for appearing in entrance exams it is mandatory that you must have these subjects in Intermediate otherwise you won't be able for entrance exams. You can appear for following entrance exams to get admission to IITs, IISc Bangalore, NITs, other reputed institutes to pursue Aerospace or Aeronautical engineering.

You must go for science stream with the subjects of physics, chemistry & maths in 11th & 12th standard.
After completing of 12th you will have to crack entrance exam i.e.JEE,AIEEE. On the basis of rank in entrance exam you can get admission in a good college for aeronautical engineering. |
