Which stream would be best for getting a job in Indian Railways?
Hello Sir, I want to job in Indian Railways at Officer post. Please tell me that which subject I have to take in class 11th? Would Science help me to secure a better job or Commerce would be beneficial?

If you want to join Indian Railways as Clerk or Train Ticket Examiner then you can select any stream either science, arts or commerce stream. But to join Indian Railways as officer, you will have to apply for Civil Services examination or Indian Engineering Services.
In case of Civil Services examination, bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized university. In case of Indian Engineering Services, bachelor's degree in engineering is required. |
