i have done my ssc recently. Now i wish to pursue diploma in Engg and then later go for Engg degree.
which stream of Engg is better in terms of longterm career prospects? Electrical or Mechanical or Electronics or computer Engg?

No, stream is bad or good it all depends upon how much interest a candidate take in that course.

So, no doubt if you have interest in computer, software, hardware etc for you it will be best to pursue computer science. For those who have interest in machinery mechanical will be best for them.

So, as according to your aim and interest you can pursue any course.
