I want to know from which subject i can appear for CBI EXAM and what is the age criteria. please help me.

There is no such specific subject which you need to study so as to join the Central Bureau of Investigation. You can apply for the entrance exam held for the Sub Inspector post in CBI with any subject in the bachelor's degree.

The examination is called Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate level examination. To apply for this exam a candidate should have done bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Final year graduation candidates can also apply for the exam.

The age limit for the SI in CBI is 20-30 years with upper age relaxations applicable to the reserved category candidates.

To become an C.B.I. officer you have to apply for SSC C.G.L. exam and qualify it. C.G.L. exam is conducted every year and it includes the posts on Inspector and Sub inspector level and the SSC calendar comes every year in the month of about December and exam is conducted in August.

Eligibility to become income tax officer-

>> candidate to be and Indian and graduate from any stream.
>> candidate should be fall in age group of 21-29 years and 3 years relaxation and 5 years for SC/St.

Selection process is-

>> Preliminary exam

>> Mains exam

>> Personal interview

If you have completed graduation degree then you are eligible for CBI entrance exam.

CBI stands for Central Bureau of Investigation.

To join CBI you need to appear for CGPE exam i.e. Combined Graduate Level preliminary exam which is conducted by SSC board every year.

Those candidates who have completed graduation degree from a recognized university are eligible for SSC CGL exam.

Age criteria :-

(i) Assistant Grade & Sub Inspectors in CBI –
Age between 20 - 27 years.
(ii) Inspectors of CE / IT & Divisional Accountants/Auditors/ UDCs –
Age between 18 - 27 years.
(iii) Sub Inspectors in Central Police Forces –
Age between 20 and 25 years.
