Re: Which subject stream should I opt after passing 10th if I wish to become a computer engineer?
As you are interested in computer engineering so after class 10 you should opt for maths and computer science as your main subjects and English as one of your language. If you take this combination of Maths,CS and English together with other subjects of your choice then you can pursue any course related to IT or computer science.

Re: Which subject stream should I opt after passing 10th if I wish to become a computer engineer?
As you want to become a computer engineer,so you should choose non-medical after your 10th std. subjects of non-med are physics, chemistry, maths. after completing your 12th with non-med give competition exams like IITJEE,AIEEE,BITS,VIT etc.. Based on the ranks in these exams you can persue your computer engineering in any engineering college.
Try to crack these exams with gud marks |

To become an Computer Engineer after 10th one should purse in non medical stream such as with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subject of studies to complete 12th standard.
After completion of 12th standard from a recognised Board with 50% or 60% marks and through entrance exam like IIT JEE/AIEEE/VITEE etc. one can take admission to his/her desired subject like Computer Engineering. |

Re: Which subject stream should I opt after passing 10th if I wish to become a computer engineer?
there are two ways to become computer engineering
1>after completion of tenth standard you can join in intermediate mpc group.after intermediate write eamcet entrance or iit join engineering by choosing cse branch. 2>after tenth writer polytechnique entrance exam and join in polytechnique cse group for 3yrs and after join in engineering college in cse group. Better to join in polytechnique after tenth.because u will be getting the engineering knowledge in polytechnique u will be having all engineering subjects .you will be getting more subject by doing polytechnique rather than intermediate |

Re: Which subject stream should I opt after passing 10th if I wish to become a computer engineer?
To become a Computer Engineer you have to opt for Physics, Chemistry and Maths in 10+2.
After completion of 10+2 with PCM you will be eligible for Engineering Entrance examination. You have to appear for the entrance exam and get a very good rank in it. Those getting top rank will get admission into top colleges. There will be objective type questions related to physics, chemistry and maths in the entrance exam.So you have to be very well prepared for the entrance then only you can get a top college. Some of the top Engineering colleges in India are given below: -Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-Delhi) Delhi Hauz Khas, New Delhi, Delhi-110016 Phone No : 011 2659 1471 Website: www.iitd.ac.in -Indian Institute of Technology (IIT- Kanpur) Kanpur nagar, Uttar Pradesh (UP), Kanpur-208016, IndiaPhone No : +91-512-259 7982Website: www.iitk.ac.in -Indian Institute of Technology (IIT- Bombay) Powai, Mumbai -400076, Maharashtra, IndiaPhone No : (+91)022-25722545 Website: www.iitb.ac.in -Indian Institute of Technology (IIT- Kharagpur) Kharagpur, West Bengal-721302 India Phone No : 076 02 521656 Website: www.iitkgp.ac.in -Indian Institute of Technology (IIT- Chennai) Chennai-600036 India Phone No : +91-44-22574350Website: www.iitm.ac.in -Indian Institute of Information and Technology (IIIT) Hyderabad Ordnance Factory Estate Yeddumailaram -502205 Andhra Pradesh, IndiaPhone No : (040) 2301 6033Website: www.iith.ac.in -Institute of Technology (IT- BHU) Varanasi Uttar Pradesh Website: www.itbhu.ac.in -Indian Institute of Technology (IIT- Guwahati) Guwahati, Assam, 781039 Phone No: 0361 258 3000 Website: www.iitg.ac.in -Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani, Rajasthan 333031 Phone No: 09468642989 Website: www.bits-pilani.ac.in -Bengal Engineering and Science University (BESU) Howrah P.O.
