so please given advise for preparing exam

IPS exam syllabus:-

Paper I- (General Awareness) (200 marks)

>Indian and World Geography

>Economic and Social Development

>Current Events of National and International Importance

>Indian Polity and Governance

>History of India and Indian National Movement

>General Science

>General Issues on environment like bio-diversity, climate change etc.

Paper II:- (200 marks)

>Basic numericals of class X level

>Logical Reasoning

>Decision making and problem solving

>Comprehension

>General mental Ability

Dear friend,
IPS comes under CS(Civil Services) exam conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission).
It has two tiers:
i) Pre exam(Objective)
ii) Mains exam(Subjective)
and then a final interview.

There would be following segments in test

IPS Syllabus for Preliminary Examination- This stage has two papers:
General Studies: For this exam you will have must study current events, Indian history of India, global and Indian geography, Indian economics and polity.
Optional Subject: For this exam, each candidate has to choose one subject from a wide list and prepare for it. This optional subject depends on the type of job that he or she wants to take as an IAS officer.
IPS Syllabus for Main Examination-
For this you need to select the language after this you need to face the personal IPS interview.
