IPS is an Indian Police Services. If you want to become a IPS, You have to qualify and got a good score in following tests those are as follows:
--->> Preliminary Exam --->> Mains Exam --->> Interview Preliminary Exam: Preliminary exam consist two papers those are as follows paper-I is General Studies, Paper-II CSAT. For Preliminary Exam, You should have a good grip on following subjects for preliminary exam those are as follows. For Paper-I, History, Economy, Polity, Geography, General Science, Ecology and Biodiversity For Paper -II, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, Numerical Ability. Mains exam consist 9 descriptive papers, those are as follows: Nine Descriptive Papers are as follows --->> Paper-I Indian Language --->> Paper-II English --->> Paper-III Essay Writing --->> Paper-IV & V are General Studies --->> Paper-VI,VII ,VIII & IX are Optional Papers For Optional Papers, You have to choose two optional subjects among 25 Subjects. you have to prepare for above papers for IPS preliminary and Mains Exam. For Preparation, You have to reffer NCERT Books, These Books are very useful for your preparation. |

IPS - Indian Police Service To became an IPS officer,one should clear the following rounds.There are three rounds, *Preliminary examination *Main examination *Interview For these three rounds they provide some criteria,which should be followed. Preliminary examination: There are two papers in this round. Paper-1:General Studies In this paper you need to have some knowledge about the following,(mainly day to day issues) -> current events, -> History of India, -> Global and Indian geography, -> Indian economics , -> polity. Paper-2:Optional Subject Each candidate has to choose one subject from a list(provided below).This optional subject depends on the type of job that the candidate wants to take as an IAS officer. ->IPS exam is conducted by UPSC. There are some criteria you have to follow for appearing in IPS exam.This exam is conduct through Civil Service Exam .
->Those candidate have completed graduation in any discipline from recognized university are eligible for IPS exam. ->But your age should be in between 21-30years for general candidate. In IPS exam their is provide age relaxation for OBC candidate is 3years and for SC/ST candidate is 5 years. ->The maximum attempts for Sc/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years.Also you must be citizen of India. Subjects for IPS: -Agriculture -Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science -Anthropology -Botany -Chemistry -Civil Engineering -Commerce & Accountancy -Economics -Electrical Engineering -Geography -Geology -History -Law -Arabic -Assamese -Bengali -Bodo -Chinese -Dogri -English Eye sight: -> 6/6 or 6/9 distant vision for good eye. 6/12 or 6/9 for worst eye. Near vision J 1 for good eye. J2 for worst eye. ->The correction is by lenses only. High standard for the Colour-blind test. No inherent night blindness. Vision should stereoscopic. Blood pressure (High) Age 23 123, age 24 124, age 25 122, age 28 124, age 30 125, age 32 126, age 34 127. Ear- good listening & normal ear cavity. 1000 to 4000 frequency hearing impairment should not be more than 30 decibels. Nasal- candidate should not stammer while speaking. |

here is the whole process for IPS (Indian Police Service) To appear in IPS exam you should be graduate. There are Civil Services exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for IPS. Eligibility :- 21 years must be completed on 1st August of the year, which a candidate is appearing. Maximum 30 for general category, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs . Ex-servicemen will get 5 more years Attempts:- Four attempts for open, seven for OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs. If a person appears in the Preliminary Examination or even one paper is counted as an attempt. there are no fix criteria for ips exam for ips exam you should be graduate with any term . and for ips exam the choice is your in which sub. you give the exam . for ips exam this exam conduct by upsc every year . qualification simply graduate no percentage required for this . age for general - 21 to 30 year for obc - 21 to 33 year for sc/st - 21 to 35 year no of attempt for general - 4 time for obc - 7 time for sc/st - no limit for this exam you should be indian first . thanks and best of luck |
