well dear friend you can find a lot of them in every location around the globe on the internet but my question to you is please specify the location/ place from where you want to do your internship then i can tell / give you the list of companies and industries which offer such training and other works..

you have many options for doing the summer training in civil engineering,you can choose industries like L&t,tata moters,all you have do is just send a request to the institute.you can also option for the courses like autocad.

I am pursuing my bachelor's degree in mechanical engg from NIT Silchar.I am in my 2nd year,interested in doing an intership this summer.I am a bit confused about this training stuff.i browsed through the internet, but i could not find on any of the companies' website about internships.I mean is it that they will publish any type of info related to the internships later or should I post my interst to them directly to their careers department.
Also can u list some companies in uttar pradesh ,delhi/ncr,uttanchal region.I am not into a particular interest as of now.
Secondaly, how can i do intenrship in the indian railways, i have heard that the konkan railways is very well reputed for its training.

There are many program for summer internship for civil engineering student.
IIT has also programed some program for civil engineering student:
For second year student:Summer camp
For third year:Surge program

And many private companies which are give the training for ce.
Just make a training letter with your college and apply for training.

For training of Civil engineering you should go for training under the leading contractors ,as they will give chance and you will also get the idea that how all things are being done.
