JNU [Jawaharlal Nehru University] conducts yearly entrance examination for admission to Post Graduate course in Geography leading to M.A. Geography degree. Syllabus is attached here:

MA geography is one of the finest courses offered in JNU. As to get admission in to JNU candidates will have to appear in an entrance test. Only qualified candidates are called up for the personnel interview. The admission is purely based on the Merit list. The syllabus included in the entrance exam are geomorphology, climatology, oceanography etc. It will also include biogeography, human, economic, population geography and human settlements. The questions will also be asked from physiographic divisions, prototype and stages of development of agriculture and industries. The growth of population and urbanization will also be the topic in the test.
