Is TANCET score required to apply for ME in Computer Science Engineering?

I'm Rani, I'm MCA graduate 2018 batch. Now I'm interested to study ME (Computer Science Engineering). Am I eligible for it? Is TANCET entrance exam necessary to apply for M.E in colleges in Tamil Nadu?

TANCET stands for Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test. It is the state level entrance exam for admission in MBA, M.E, M.Tech courses admission in colleges affiliated to Anna University in Tamil Nadu.

There are many colleges in Tamil Nadu which offers admission in Master of Engineering based on Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering scorecard. You can apply for GATE exam if you are not interested in TANCET.

With GATE scorecard, you can get admission in IITs, NITs for M.Tech course.

Yes , you are eligible. For Admissions in Tamil Nadu colleges you can give GATE or many colleges conduct their own exams for admissions .But its good to give TANCET as well as it will improve your chances of admission in good colleges.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
