No, There is No Age Limit Eligiblity Criteria to apply for NIMCET Examination.

NIMCET is a National level entrance test conducted by NITs for admission to their MCA programme And To apply for this examination You Must have completed your Graduate degree course With Mathematics as a compulsory Subjects in 12Th examination.

Candidates Must have Scored minimum 60% Marks in 12Th examination with Maths and also in Graduation with any one of the following as one of the subjects - Mathematics, Business Mathematics, Discrete Mathematics, Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science, Business Statistics,, Computational Mathematics, Elementary Mathematics and Elementary Statistics.

So, Candidates Must have scored Minimum 60% Marks in Graduation, only then you are eligible for NIMCET Examination.

So, If you have completed Your Bachelor degree and You have study Maths in your 12Th examination, then you are eligible for NIMCET Examination.

Eligibility for NIMCET :

Candidate securing 60% marks or 6.5/10 CGPA (55% or 6.0/10 CGPA for SC/ST) in each of the examinations of

(i) 12th level with Mathematics and

(ii) bachelor’s degree of full time 3 year duration from a recognized university with any one of (a) mathematics (b) statistics (c) business mathematics (d) discrete mathematics (e) mathematical foundations of computer science (f) business statistics (g) computational mathematics (h) elementary mathematics (i) elementary statistics; as one of the subjects.

NIMCET

NIMCET is a National level Entrance test Conducted By NIT's For admission to their MCA Programme. The Admission To first year MCA programme Offered by the Select NIT's will be based on the rank obtained in NIMCET2 only. NIMCET Examination is scheduled in the Month of May.

Eligibity :

► Indian Students securing 60% marks or 6.5/10 CGPA in each of the Examinations Of :

♦ 12th std Maths

♦ Bachelor's degree of full time 3 year duration with any one of the following as the subjects:

• Mathematics
• Business Mathematics
• Discrete Mathematics
• Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science
• Business Statistics
• Computational Mathematics
• Elementary Mathematics
• Elementary Statistics

► Those who have done bridge course inmathematics can also Apply.

► The candidates who are appearing for the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for NIMCET2011.

PS: State quota is applicable only for the state of Tamil Nadu .Candidate passed / appeared for qualifying exam from Tamil Nadu will be eligible for Tamil Nadu State Quota of NIT – Trichurapalli. For all other NIT’s only all India quota is applicable.

to apply in NIMCET there is no certain age limit .there is some qualification required .
*The candidates should be a graduate from science or from engineering back ground
with out any backlogs
the candidates must have score 60% mark in his graduation level.

NIMCET exam criteria:-

Minimum 60% mark through out career,that is compulsory for you.

there is no eligibility criteria for this exam.

Mode of exam:-

Question is objective type ,120 questions is come
each correct answer give you 4 marks,each wrong answer deduct your mark 1 nagative mark.

List of Test centers:-

NIT Agartala, MNNIT Allahabad, MANIT Bhopal, NIT Calicut, NIT Durgapur, NIT Hamirpur,

Jaipur, NIT Jalandhar, NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Kurukshetra, (this is tentative, if enough

number of candidates do not opt for a centre that centre will be cancelled)

Question Pattern:-

Mathematics- 40 questions
Ability & Reasoning- 55 questions
Computer awareness-10 questions
General english- 15 questions
