Is there any chance to join DepEd at 40 years of age being a licensed teacher without experience?

Hello, I am a Licensed teacher BSEd(Mathematics). I would like to get some advice from you all regarding my status. I am already in my 40's of age. Do I still have a chance of becoming part in DepEd knowing that I am a Licensed but I don't have a teaching experience except of having a tutorial service or a tutor only as my job since last 4 years up to the present. I got an interest of applying in DepEd but sometimes I felt negative in myself thinking that I don't have a chance anymore. Am I right? please, I need your advice. thank you
