is there any change in pattern in exam of UP PCS?
i have heard that exam pattern of UP PCS for 2012 is like CSAT.
IS it true?

--prelim examination(objective & multiple choice)

--main examination

(conventional type )


--viva voice (personality test)


Prelim exam:
--it consist --2 compulsory papers--duration 2 hrs--each paper of 200 marks--both paper is of objective type-- timing of paper 1-- 9.30 to 11.30 am

--2nd paper from 2.30 to 4.30 pm



Subject of the main exam:

compulsory subjects

--general hindi 150 marks

--essay 150 marks

--general studies( paper 1) 200 marks

--general studies (paper 2) 200 marks


general studies paper 1 & paper 2 --150 questions --objective type
