Are there any government jobs available in Architecture branch?

Hi, I have completed B.Arch and looking for government jobs either at central or state level. Are there any such jobs available? If yes, then which are those and how can I apply? Any entrance requirements?

Yes there are government jobs available to such students. To apply for such government jobs, one has to take up entrance exam conducted by the UPSC .
They conduct the recruitment exam for two architecture cadre post . These are
Architect (Gr B)
Deputy Architect (Gr A)

Depending on the choice of work profile , one can select a scope of work suitable for you . Some are
Architectural engineer
Architectural Historian / journalist
Interior designer
Some of the areas within Central Government that recruit B.Arch pass outs include the subsequent
*Department of Railways
*Architecture and Building Development firms
*Department of post and Telegraph
*National Building Organization
*Teaching profession in government sector after B.Arch.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
