Is there any height relaxation for OBC candidates in Indian Air Force?
Hi, I belong to OBC caste category and wants to join Flying branch of Indian Air Force. What is the standard height eligibility criteria? Is there any relaxation for OBC caste category candidates?

You can't get height relaxation based on caste. There is a relaxation of 5 cm available for candidates belonging to North Eastern or hilly regions such as Uttarakhand and Nepal.
Hence, if you belong to any of the hilly regions where people are normally less such as Gorkhas, then surely you will get relaxation. The normal height requirement for Indian Air Force is 157.5 cm. |
