Re: Is there any minimum marks criteria for SSC exam?
Staff Selection Commission conducts many examinations for various qualifications like 10+2 and Graduates.
As per the various notifications of SSC there isn't any mention about the percentage of marks so you can make out that only pass marks is sufficient to make you eligible for these examinations. Hence if you have got the required qualification then apply for the SSC exam of your choice and don't worry if you have got below 50% marks. The selection by SSC exams will have Written examination and interview or skill test based on the post you are applying . For 10+2 there is CHSL exam and for Graduates there is CGLE examination. So be prepared for these examination according to the pattern of exam. Written exam will have questions related to General Knowledge, English, Reasoning and Arithmetic. There will be negative marking for every wrong answer. Age Limit for SSC Exams: 18 to 27 years is the required age CHSL and CGLE. There is age relaxation available according to the category you belong. SC/ST: 5 years relaxation OBC : 3 years relaxation PH : 10 years relaxation |
