yes my dear friend . SCRA exam have negative marking for any wrong answer. they cut 1/3 mark. for every wrong answer. so be careful for attempting question . do not make any fluke.

Yes, there is provision of negative marking for every wrong answer in SCRA

written examination.

For each wrong answer the one third of marks assigned to the question will

be deducted.

There would be a single correct answer among the four choices. If somehow

you tick two choices then the answer will be assumed wrong.

There is a provision of one third of marks assigned to the question negatively deducted.

The examination shall be conducted according to the following plan:-
Part I Written examination carrying a maximum of 600 marks in the
subjects as shown below.


Part II Personality Test carrying a maximum of 200 marks in respect
of only those candidates who are declared qualified on the results of written examination.
2. The subjects of the written examination under Part I, the time allowed and the maximum marks allotted to each subject/paper shall be as follows:

6. Candidates must write the answer in their own hand. In no circumstances,
will they be allowed the help of a scribe to write the answers for them.

Yes friend,

you are right, negative making(Penalty mark) is allocated for the following mistake made by candidate during written extermination..

-> In objective type question for each question for
which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one third (0.33) of the
marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.

-> If a candidate gives more than one answer, it will be treated as a wrong answer even if one of the given answer happens to be correct.

If candidate left blank all four option(didn't attempt), then there will be no penalty for that question.

Yes, there will be negative marking in SCRA exam. If you made three wrong answer then your one marks will be deducted. So the ratio for the negative marking will be one third.
So keep in mind if you are sure about the answer then answer them otherwise leave that question.

Negative Marking for SCRA Examination :

SCRA examination is conducted by UPSC in favour of Ministry of Railway.
This is the highest level job of Indian Railway. This exam is conducted in
every year. Number of seat in this examination is limited but a large number of students appear in this exam every year to test their fate.

In the SCRA examination the negative marking is applicable for the wrong answer. There are four attempt for the answer of every question. For each wrong answer one third (0.33) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.

yes there are negative marking in SCRA examination. for each wrong answer one third marks (0.33) will be deducted.

there will be four answer given for each question among which one is correct. candidate have to choose the correct one. if anyone marks two answer for one question then that question will be treated as wrong and one third marks will be deducted.

there is no penalty for unanswered question. each question will carry one marks.
