Yes, there are entrance exam for MBA. the most popular and effective are- CAT, MAT, JAT etc. Some institution also take candidates on merit without entrance pass certificate.
Some universities have their own prescribed entrance test for candidates who seek admission for MBA courses.

Yes there are entrance exams for admission in Master of Business Administration course. You need to appear in one of the entrance exams to get admission. However there are few colleges that would grant admission on the merit but it general it is necessary to appear for the entrance exam.

The answer is quite simple. If you want admission in best Management colleges in India that are IIMs - Indian Institute of Management. Then it is important that you appear for CAT or the Common Admission Test. The admission for IIMs is given on the basis of Common Admission Test.

To appear in CAT exam you would need a graduation degree with 50 percent marks in case of general candidate and 45 percent marks if belongs to SC/ST.


The other popular exam is XAT which can also be take up by candidate who has completed graduation degree. Some very prestigious universities like Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar, Loyola Institute of Business Administration, XIME Bangalore etc accept the Xavier Aptitude Test.


The third good option is Management Aptitude Test. It is widely accepted by colleges around the country and generally candidates who either fail to make the cut in CAT or do not manage the minimum percentage for other exams, prefer to choose MAT.

MBA is stand for the Master of Business Administrative which is a post graduate degree course of duration two years. If you are interested in the business field then MBA is the best option for you.
