Is it true that salary provided for M.Tech IITs is less? Is M.Tech necessary? Which IIT provides specialization in the field of electronics?


i m presently studying (b tech-1) in nit surat... i first planned 2 do m tech in any of iits but my friends are saying that packages for m tech students in iits is less is tis true?
is doing m tech is that much required?
i m in electronics and comm engg department..pls can any body say which iit provides specialisations in field of electronics....

dear friend,

no no that is not the matter,
but an m.tech student get same package as an B.tech student in starting...
but after completing M.tech u can hike Your life in a respective position

Hi

No it is not true. M.Tech are given simillar of more package as btech.
But the option available to mtech is less as it an specialized course.

If you want to get promotion faster you should have m.Tech
specially if you joining any engineering post or Research and development post

many are saying that from the year 2014 m.tech course study of duration is three years.is this true????
