There are no IT or CS subjects in the optional list for UPSC exam but you would find IT related problems at UPSC mains level in the General Studies paper 3 whose syllabus include awareness in the fields of IT, Space, Computers, robotics, nano-technology, bio-technology .You must choose among the listed subjects depending upon your proclivity , talent and interest. The subjects include-
