I've more than ten yrs. Of experience in criminal courts' practise. I am intending to sit for written test conducted through upsc for the recruitment of public prosecutor. For the preparation of that test how i will proceed? Which criminal Laws are more important for this examination?

as you are having a practice of more than 10 years so you are eligible for the exam but you hasn't communicated anything about your age as their is an age bar for appearing in the examination ..

you need to be less than 35 yrs. of age for appearing for post of public prosecutor post (15 posts available ) and atmost 40yrs. of age for senior public prosecutor post (17 posts available ) , so you need to have a look over it ...

The entrance exam for it will be conducted on 26.09.2010 all over the centers of India ..
for more details regarding it , you must refer to the special advertisement in the " employment news " published by UPSC on 26.06.2010 ...

The paper will be of objective type of 2 hrs. duration so need to attend the paper with speed but you need to maintain the accuracy as well since the competetion will be too high in this examination ..

Qualifications for the post of public prosecutors is given below:

1.Public Prosecutors
Pay Scale : Rs. 15600-39100 grade pay Rs.5400/-,
Qualification : Degree in Law, seven year practice at Bar in conducting criminal cases.,
Age : 35 year

2.Senior Public Prosecutors
Pay Scale : Rs. 15600-39100 grade pay Rs.6600/-,
Qualification : Degree in Law, 8 year practice at Bar in conducting crminal cases.,
Age : 40 year
