I am from Uttar Pradesh and my OBC certificate is from Uttar Pradesh only and I completed my education in Gujarat. Is my cast certificate valid for jobs in Western Railways?

As per govt. rules, OBC certificate can issue B.D.O(Block Development Officer or S.D.O(Sub-Divisional officer) or D.M(District Magistrate) from state. If you have a OBC certificate from state then your certificate will be valid in whole India. Obviously if you belong to OBC Non-creamy layer then you got the reservation. If you belong to O.B.C creamy layer you are not able to get reservation.
