is vinayak mission university eligable for net exam?...please give me the details

My friend there would be no issue if a post graduate student from Vinayaka Mission University is seeking to appear for National Eligibility Test. You just need to meet the criteria for the UGC-NET entrance exam to apply for the exam.

Candidates who have completed post graduation from open university are also eligible for NET entrance exam. Since Vinayaka Mission University is affiliated with University Grants Commission, there will be no issue in applying for the NET entrance exam.

The next National Eligibility Test for college lectureship will take place in June 2013. It will be followed by another exam in December 2013. You should start preparing for the exam right now to clear the June 2013 NET exam.

NET is one of the most difficult entrance exams in India to crack. The large number of students appearing makes it even more competitive. You should check out previous years question papers and take mock test available online to prepare for the National Eligibility Test.


Eligibility

1. You should be of Indian origin to apply.

2. Candidate must have post graduation degree from UGC affiliated university.

3. Minimum of 55 percent marks are required in post graduation.

4. The requirement for SC/ST candidates is 50 percent marks.

5. Final year students can also apply for NET.

6. However they are required to submit post graduation degree within 2 years of clearing the NET entrance exam.

7. Your NET subject should be related to post graduation course.


Age Limit

1. The age limit for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) is 28 years.

2. There is 3 years relaxation for OBC.

3. SC/ST are eligible for 5 years relaxation.

4. There is no upper age limit for college lectureship.

are students from open university eligible to apply in college or univesity lecturer post?

I have executed my B.Sc in Geography. But my score was too low- 48%. What should I do? Am i eligible to apply for M.Sc course in any university? What are the courses and universities I can apply?

i have done B.Ed regular from punjabi university,patiala and M.Sc from VINAYAK MISSION , TN through distance education plan in same year. is this valid?
