Re: Weightage given to academics in XLRI admission for MBA?
Hi,
XLRI does not see the marks you have obtained in +2 for its admission. For getting admission you should have completed Bachelor's Degree and obtained pass marks in all subjects. No weightage will be given for your academic performance. You have to get good score in the entrance test conducted by them. Registration period: September to November Exam(entrance test): December Results: January For getting more details please visit the website of xlri |

Re: Weightage given to academics in XLRI admission for MBA?
I dont think 12th and 10th marks are preferred for admission. Its the marks of graduation which matters. So 60% in graduation is necessary to get admission to XLRI
I didnt understand what you saying about the weightage. Please elaborate |

Re: Weightage given to academics in XLRI admission for MBA?
Form admission into XLRI candidate must have to crack XAT. There are also 60 other Associate Institutes of XAT, but XLRI remains at top.
So, basically there are three programs in XLRI 1) Two year post graduate program- MBA atc. 2) On year post graduate managment program. 3) Four years long Fellowship program. So, as you are talking about program (1). Eligibility is such that, Candidates must have passed Graduation in any field from a Recognised university or Demeed University. So, weather you have less or higher percentage in 10th & 12th it accutally does'nt matter. And even a Candidate those who have scored less then 50% in Graduation can also appear for XLRI. But Apart from XAT performance the first preferance will be given to candidates with good Academic record. So, just try to score well in your Graduation and XAT. Best of Luck Regards ~Faiyaz~ |

Re: Weightage given to academics in XLRI admission for MBA?
Hello friend,
by cracking XAT entrance test you can get admission to XLRI for MBA. The candidate must have at least 55% in masters degree and 60% in Bachelor degree in B.tech or B.E or its equivalent. So academics performance matters a lot here. Good luck! |

Re: Weightage given to academics in XLRI admission for MBA?
I have secured 74% marks in madhyamik, 86% marks in higher secondary and 56% in my graduation. So, if i clear all the cut offs in XAT and get a call from XLRI, then what are my chances in converting the call.

Re: Weightage given to academics in XLRI admission for MBA?
Hai,
Dear friend XLRI does not consider the marks of 10th and 12th standard. It's just consider the marks of your graduation. To get the admission into the XLRI you need to have 60% marks in your graduation. All the best |

Re: Weightage given to academics in XLRI admission for MBA?
Dear all, There is no barrier for excellence, if you have wings to fly no one can stop you. I have one of my friend in IIM shillong and she secured only 58.5% marks in Grad. So stop listening to those who say 60% in grad is necessary or something like that. You are pursuing a dream to be a future manager, so start showing that attitude as Mr. Tata said, "I made decisions first then try to correct them". Stop listening to those so called experts and start listening to yourself. Talk to yourself, identify yourself, and then you fill find the expert inside you will make the correct decision about your life and future. So stop bothering by what someone says and All the Best!.
