Is it necessary to have 60% minimum in B.Sc Nursing for all the 4 years to get in AIIMS for pursuing M.Sc Nursing? What is the standard admission criteria?

As per the AIIMS Prospectus released for M.Sc Nursing admission, the minimum eligibility criteria required to appear in AIIMS admission test for M.Sc in Nursing are as below :-

* You must have completed your B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing /B.Sc. Nursing (Post-Certificate)/Post-Basic /B.Sc. Nursing (4years) course from any recognised university, from an educational institution recognised by the Indian Nursing Council, with 60% marks ( or 55% marks in case of SC/ST candidates).

* You must be registered as Nurse, RN, RM (Registered Nurse, Registered Midwife) with any State Nursing Council.

So, as mentioned above it is mandatory to secure at least 60% marks in B.Sc in Nursing degree course for admission to M.Sc in Nursing degree course in AIIMS if you belong to General or OBC category otherwise 55% marks.

AIIMS MSc nursing application form consists of six steps. Applicants will be required to see the general details like personal information educational qualifications. Application forms can be filled via the online mode only on the official website www.aiimsexams.org.
Application fees can be paid using credit or net banking only.

Registration and online application begins in the month of March every year.
Entrance exam is conducted in the month of June.
Result is declared in the month of June.
Counselling procedure starts from August to September.
