What should be the age limit in order to apply for a teacher in government sector in general category in 2018? and as I live in up so this is applicable here also? please reply with me the details which I need to follow next. Awaiting for the response. Thanks!

For recruitment as teacher in government school candidate have to appear and qualify in CTET or TET examination conducted by CBSE and State government.

There is no age limit to appear in CTET examination. So, if you required educational qualification you can appear in examination.

For TET examination the age limit varies with state. So, visit official website to get detail about eligibility.

Generally age limit depends upon the post and board you are applying.

Age limit for General male and female candidate is 37 years.

For OBC candidate it is 40 years.

For SC/ST candidate it is 42 years.

You must have Graduate from a recognized university along with B.Ed or equivalent degree.

Candidate should be an Indian.

Candidate should have good personal skills.

Selection: Written test which is called TET.
Interview.
