My son's birthday date is 21-08-12, right now he is in class 1. Can he join class 2 directly in this year? Please, clear my doubts as soon as possible.

The age criteria required to get admission for pursuing Class 2 is 6 years 6 months. As per the information you have mentioned in your query, your son is 5 years 5 months old, so, your son is not eligible to get admission in 2nd Class.

Minimum age for admission in Class 2 is 6 years.
Cut off date to consider age criteria is normally 31st March of each year

Right now, your sons age is 5 years and 4 months and in March 2018, yours sons age will be 5 years and 7 months.

Since your sons age will not be 6 years , so he would not be eligible for admission in Class 2.

But still you should check with good schools of your city.
