Guidelines for admission into CBSE School
What is general guidelines for admission into CBSE School for lower classes? Like, age limits and other procedures.

The age criteria required for taking admission in first standard of CBSE Board school is 5 years 6 months. For admission into upper classes, admissions are offered only if there are vacant seats. You have to appear and qualify the admission test/ entrance examination conducted by the respective school for taking admission in CBSE Board school.

For admission in class 1 Age should be 5 years plus. For admission in class 2 Age should be 6 years plus. For admission in class 3 Age should be 7 years plus. Most of the schools admission starts during the month of January each year. You have to buy the application form. Submit the application form and deposit birth certificate and last years marksheet. Some schools also conduct written tests and interviews. |
