RTO stands for Road Transport Officer.

It is mainly for the following posts:

Judicial post
Assistant engineer post
Clerk post

Eligibility for different posts are different such as:

For Judicial posts:

Graduation in law i.e.LLB
Age should be in between 21 to 32 years.

For assistant engineer post:

B.Tech or B.E in any stream.
Age should be in between 21 to 30 years.

For clerk post:

12th passed with minimum 60% marks.
Age should be in between 21 to 34 years.

RTO stands for Road Transport Officer.

There are three categories in RTO----

Clerk Post
Judicial Post
Sub Assistant Post

For Clerk Post--

Candidate age should be between 18 years to 37 years.
Candidate must have a graduation degree from a recognized university.

For Judicial Post--

Candidate age should be between 23 years to 35 years.
Candidate must have a graduation degree in law from a recognized university.

For Sub Assistant Post--

Candidate age should not more than 34 years.
Candidate must have a graduation degree from a recognized university.

To become a RTO Officer minimum qualification is B.Tech.You have to qualify B.ed course.

Sir I m completed my llb 3year with 58.57 .so u will me that my candidature is valid for pcs j and guide me how to start the preparation of pcs j

RTO stands for Road Transport Officer is examination conducted by Public Service Commission of states for recruitment at RTO post.

Candidates are mainly recruited for three posts through the examination .
The posts are
-Clerical Post
-Judicial Post
-Assistant Engineer post

Eligibility criteria for clerical post are
-Candidate must holds 12th/equivalent degree in any disciple from any recognized board.
-Candidate must be of age 18 to 37 years.

Eligibility criteria for Judicial post are
-Candidate must holds graduate degree in Law from recognized university.
-Candidate must be of age 19-23 years.

Eligibility criteria for Assistant engineer post are
-Candidate must hold B.Tech degree from any recognized board .
-Candidate must be of age less than 34 years.
