What can I do to join Indian Merchant Navy after clearing 12th in Arts stream? Am I eligible for it or only students from Science stream can join it? If I'm not eligible than what should I do to be eligible?

You can join in merchant navy as GP rating cadet after the completion of 12 th Standard in commerce stream.
Merchant Navy is backbone of international trade, carrying cargo all over the world.
Eligibility :
-> Educational qualification required to join in merchant navy as deck cadet is 12 th Standard pass with physics, mathematics and chemistry as subjects & only unmarried Indian citizens only are eligible to apply. And to join as GP rating cadet, 10th standard pass with English, maths and science as subjects or 12 th standard or ITI pass is required.
And age limit to apply for this job is 17.5-25 years & the candidate must be physically, mentally fit to apply for this post.
And the candidate must complete ship training course before joining job in merchant navy.
And admission into merchant navy is by screening test, main exam, personal interview and medical test.

No, you are not eligible to join Merchant Navy after completion of your 12th standard with Arts stream. To be eligible to join Merchant Navy, you should have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics subjects from a Government recognised board. Since you have not pursued Mathematics and Physics subjects in your 12th standard, you are not eligible to join Merchant Navy.

First of all arts students are not eligible for merchant navy for giving the exam you need PCM combination in 12th, so you are not eligible for Indian Navy
