Sir, my eye vision is -1.75 and my height is 167 cm. Can I submit application form for the post of Sub-Inspector of Police in Uttar Pradesh State Police? What are the other health fitness requirements?

1) Race:
For Male 4.8 Km. in 28 Minutes.
For Female Candidates 2.4 Km. in 16 Minutes.

2) Height:
For Male - 168 cm. (160 cm Only for ST Category).
For Female - 152 cm. (147 cm Only for ST Category).

3) Chest:
(Only for Male)- 79 cm. (Phulane Par 84 cm). and 77 cm only for ST
Category.

For your eye sigth problem there is not any official notice regarding SI in uttar pradesh, but I found but for SI Delhi police The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of two eyes without correction i.e without wearing eyeglasses.

The candidates will undergo measurement of height, chest expansion, 100-metre and 800-metre run, long jump and high jump, and shot-put;

Candidates should have to complete Graduation from recognized university or board.

Age Limit: Minimum: 21 years Maximum: 33 years
Pay Scale: 9300 to 34800 + GP 4200

Physical Standards For UP SI

Male Candidates
- Height : At least 168 cm
- Chest : 79 cm (relaxed) and 84 cm (expanded)
- Weight : At least 52 Kg

Female Candidates
- Height : At least 152 cm
- Chest : Not Applicable
- Weight : At least 40 Kg

The health fitness criteria is given below:
Height- For Male- 168 cm. (160 cm Only for ST Category) and
for Female Candidates- 152 cm. (147 cm Only for ST Category).
Chest (Only for Male)- 79 cm. (expanded 84 cm). and 77 cm only for ST Category.
Eye sight ( with or without glasses )
Distant vision : 6/6 in one and 6/9 in the other eye.
Near vision 0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye.
