My name is Nazrul Islam. I have recently completed my graduation with maths hons. My question is that i have graduated with arts so i am a B.A. and my intermediate was also with arts with math as a subject. So i was asking that can i go for the preparation of IIT-JAM. and also please tell me that what is the criterea of IIT-JAM examination for maths.

Yes, as you a degree holder in mathematics, you can appear for IIT JAM (mathematics). In degree you should have obtained a minimum of 55% marks. Five percent relaxation in marks is given for SC/ST category candidates. Detailed syllabus can be collected from the website of IIT JAM. Application can be forwarded through the web portal of IITD.

sir i have rank 2106 in jam mathematics.Should i apply online for adimission into iit mathematics?

1. You must have a Bachelor's degree.

2. You must have obtained 55% marks(50% for SC/ST candidates)

3. There is no age limit.

No, you are not eligible for jam because there are maths and physics both are compulsory subject. But i will tell you the criteria for iit jam is given below:
