Those Candidates have obtained 50% marks in Graduation degree are applicable for MCA Entrance exam. (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category)You must have mathematics subject in 12th or Graduation standard.

The Eligible department for IIT JAM Exam for MCA course are BCA , B.Sc (IT,CS) , B.Sc in Mathematics.

IIT conduct this exam in every year so prepare well below given books .

Criteria For IIT MCA Entrance

Admissions to IITs for MCA are done through IIT JAM (Joint Admission Test) and you need to have the following minimum eligibility criterion to appear for the exam :-

>> Candidate must have cleared his graduation in Computer Science/IT and must have secured an aggregate of 55% (50% for SC/ST)

>> Candidates must be able to submit their graduation documents by 30th September,2013

IIT MCA entrance exam eligibility criteria:

Aspirants who have done their BCA, BBA or B.Tech can apply for the MCA course. Students who have finished their graduation in science can also apply.
These students must have studied Mathematics as a subject in class 10+2.

Eligibility For MCA Entrance

if you qualify in JAM then you will have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria for admissions in IITs.

At least 55% aggregate marks (taking into account all subjects, including languages and subsidiaries, all years combined) for General/OBC category candidates and at least 50% aggregate marks (taking into account all subjects, including languages and subsidiaries, all years combined) for SC, ST and PD category candidates in the qualifying degree.

For candidates with letter grades/CGPA (instead of percentage of marks), the equivalence in percentage of marks will be decided by the Admitting Institute(s).

Proof of having passed the qualifying degree with the minimum educational qualification as specified by the admitting institute should be submitted.

At the time of admission, all admitted candidates will have to submit a physical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner in the prescribed form. At the time of registration, the admitted candidates may also have to undergo a physical fitness test by a medical board constituted by the Admitting Institute.

My question is that IIT-JAM has two papers to be given. So for mca i have to give both papers or one paper, and if one paper then which one to be given test paper 1 or 2. Please guide.
