Re: What is the date of the entrance exam of LLB/
LLB stands for Bachelor of legislative law. As the name suggests it is a bachelor degree course after pursuing which one heads towards becoming a lawyer.
Basically there are two types of LLB course offered in India which are discussed as below :- First type of LLB course is LLB five years course for students having higher secondary school degree from a recognized board of education. Second type of LLB course is LLB course of three years offered to students having completed their bachelor degree from a recognized university. The LLB entrance examination is called Common law admission test and the examination is held for the selection of students for their law course from National Law Universities of India. The qualification required for appearing in the same examinations are as here under :- * You must have a higher secondary school degree with any discipline from a recognized board of education with at least 45% aggregate. Relaxation of 5% marks are provided to SC/ST and PH candidates. * You must hold the nationality of India with age not exceeding 20 years. Age relaxation of 2 years is provided to SC/ST and PH candidates. The exact date for next CLAT examinations has not been announced yet officially. But from the trends followed you can expect the examination to be held in the first half of May. Also the forms for the same is available by the starting of January and lasts up to the March.
