An All India Merchant Navy entrance Test is conducted for admission in the following programs -
1. B.Sc Nautical Science
2. B.Tech Naval Architecture
3. G.P. Ratings
4. Diploma of Applied Science (deck watch keeper)
5. B.Tech Marine
6. MBA (Shipping and Logistics Management)

The sale of the application form will start in the month of November the official dates are yet to be declared the exam will be conducted in mid December and result will be declared at the end of the december.

The application forms are available at specified Axis Bank Branches and Post offices at the payment of Rs. 2500/- Otherwise you can send a crossed DD Rs.2600/- in favor of “Controller of Examinations, AIMNET to receive the form by Post.

Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech Naval Architecture & Ship Building

-The candidate must have completed 10+2 with Physics, chemistry and Mathematics subject with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
-The age of the candidate must not be more than 25 years.

B.Tech Marine Engineering

-The candidate must have completed 10+2 with Physics, chemistry and Mathematics subject with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.
-The age of the candidate must not be more than 25 years.

B.Sc Nautical Science

-The candidate must have completed 10+2 with Physics, chemistry and Mathematics subject with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.
-The age of the candidate must not be more than 25 years.

M.B.A. Shipping & Logistics Management

-The candidate must have completed graduation from a recognized university.
-Marines can also apply for it.


Pre-Sea Training G.P. Ratings

-Even matriculation pass candidates are eligible for it. The candidate must have passed 10th or 12th with a minimum of 40% marks.
-Candidates who have passed ITI with a minimum of 50% marks are also eligible for it.
-The age of the candidate must not be more than 25 years.
