what is the deference between UGC & AICTE...please provide to me the complete difference

sir i want to know that i am doing diploma in electrical from ksou this university is not recognized for AICTE but recognized with UGC it is same or not. it will be create problem in gov jobs plz reply as soon as posible at my mail also [email protected]

AICTE and UGC are different bodies

AICTE is generally base on technical education, which full form AICTE stands for

##ALL INDIA COUNCIL OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION.

##Every engineering college must be recognized by AICTE

##Promotion of technical education in India.



UGC stand for University grant commission

##Promoting and conducting university education.

##Most of the degree excluding engineering, management etc are under UGC.

1. UGC is University Grants Commission and AICTE is All India Council for Technical Education.
2. UGC is made for coordination, determination and maintenance of standards of university education which includes your all courses of Universities of India.
But AICTE is only for technical and management education in India such as IIT's , NIT's , IIIT's and other such colleges.

i have completed my MBA(marketing) from sikkim mnipal university which is UGC recognized whether it would help me to get higher promotion ?
My working organisation has put objection on my degree because it is recognise by UGC .. they said it is not approved by AICTE it has to be recognise by AICTE

Other boards like AICTE are UGC,MHRD etc.,

Dear friend UGC stand for University Grants Commission .

UGC was established in 1956.

UGC provide funds for affiliated universities and colleges. The UGC also conducts exams, known as NET,

for appointing teachers in colleges. The headquarters of UGC is in New Delhi,

and there are six regional offices at Hyderabad, Pune, Kolkata, Guwahati, Bhopal and Bangalore.

AICTE stand for All India Council for Technical Education.

AICTE was established in 1945.

The AICTE is only a statutory body, which deals with co-ordinated development

and proper planning of the technical education system in the country.

University Grants Commission(UGC) is the statutory Body of the Government of India,which has the unique distinction of being the only Grant-Giving Agency in the country. UGC has been vested with two responsibilities:

-Providing funds

-maintenance of coordination,determination and standards in institution of higher education.

All India Council for Technical Education(AICTE) is the statutory Body and a national-level Council for technical education,under Department of Higher Education,Ministry of Human Resource Development.It is responsible for proper planning and coordinated development of the Technical Education and Management Education Education System in India.AICTE accredits postgraduate and graduate Programs under Specific Categories at Indian Institutions as per its charter.

Sir i am doing engineering from a college which has name GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING college Dumka but it's affiliation in AICTE is with techno india Dumka and the director of techno groups says that name in the AICTE will be changed ,but by chance wouldn't change till i complete my course then problems would arises.

Sir i am in bpharm final year. When i took admission in my collage it was AICTE approved but now the approval has been taken down.. I did my whole graduation in collage when its AICTE approved but in last few months of the graduation the approval was taken down.. So will my degree or certificates comes under not approved collage or approved collage.. And tell one more thing that either i have to face problem in regarding gov jobs in future due to certificates of non approved collage.
