Yes of course you can apply for the Flying Branch of Indian Air Force in the fourth year itself provided you must submit your details at the time of SSB.There are three types of entry in Flying Branch
1.CDSE Examination:-This examination is conducted by the UPSC Board for entry as Officers. This examination is usually conducted twice a year and the advertisements are released in the months of April and September. You can go through this examination in the final year graduation course itself but your age limit must be between 19-23 years.UPSC conducts the written examination in selected cities.if selected for the written you will be called for the SSB.
For more details regarding the examination visit the following page
http://www.upsc.gov.in

2.Flying (Pilot) Short Service Commission (For Men & Women):-It's a fourteen year service with no further extension.Graduate with three Year course in any discipline from a recognised university who have attained minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together and have Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level or BE / B Tech (Four Year Course) from a recognised university with minimum 60% marks in aggregate in all papers put together.Final Year students can also apply, provided thay do not have any backlog and should have min 60% marks in aggregate upto the final semester.Candidates from the age group between 19-23 years can apply for the examination.

3.National Cadet Corps Special Entry:-Air Wing Senior division 'C' Certificate holder of the National Cadet Corps can apply for this examination which is of a permanent commission. The eligibility details remain same as above mentioned.

Dear friend,

the pilots will be responsible for flying the most advanced air crafts in the indian air force. They will be responsible for flying transport planes, choppers etc. They will be required to serve the country with full dedication, loyalty and enthusiasm.

Eligibility: A candidate must be between the age of 19 and 23 years. However, relaxation can be claimed as per the rules. A candidate must have a minimum height of 162.5 cms with a correlated weight and a leg length between 99 and 120 cms.

Educational qualifications: A candidate must be a graduate in any discipline including b.e/b.tech with a minimum of 60% from a recognized university/institute. A candidate must have passed physics and mathematics up to 12th standard. A candidate must not have any present backlogs.

Selection process:

The candidates will have to appear for the pabt test and the ssb test followed by a medical test (only for selected candidates) at the selection board of the indian air force.

Good luck..
