What is the eligibility criteria in gate for chemical engineering? Will any b.e/b.tech degree will work?

B.E/B.Tech graduates can apply for GATE exam. Candidates who have done engineering in any stream can attend GATE exam. M.Sc and MCA candidates are also eligible. Those who qualify this exam can get admission for M.E/M.Tech courses. You can apply for this exam via online /offline mode.

i have completed my B TECH in industrial biotechnology ...and i want to appear in
gate ( chemistry ) paper ..am i eligible for this ..? |

ELIGIBILITY FOR GATE
A final year(4th) student or pass out student can appear for GATE. Student must have at leat 60% in his/her disciple for appear in GATE exam. This year the online form fill up commence from 1st september. Fees Rs 1200/- for male general candidate. Rs 600/- for male SC/ST/OBC candidate There is no fees for female candidates. Offline GATE exam will occur on 20th january,2013 Online GATE exam will occur on 17th february,2013. All The Best.
