M.tech stands for Master of Technology. The duration of the course is for three years and the course is divided into six semester. There are lot of Colleges in India offers in this M.tech course.

To apply for M.tech course then you should Complete B.tech Course from recognized University . Applicant have to score Minimum 50% Percentage of marks in B.tech course.

The candidate who Complete M.sc Course may also eligible to apply for this Course.

After satisfy the educational Qualification, the applicant need to appear in Entrance Examination Ex. GATE Examination ..

The Admission for this M.tech course is based on the Entrance Examination Performance . Some top Institution may also Conduct entrance examination within the colleges.

So, If you crack the GATE Examination with good percentage of marks than you may get admission for M.tech course in top Institution..

Basically M.Tech program's are advertised during the month of March each year in the Employment news as well as in leading newspapers and admissions are carried during the Month of of May.

GATE(Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) is the common entrance test for taking admission in M.Tech courses,basically in IIT.Another advantage of giving GATE Exam is that through the rank card of GATE you will also able to get jobs in Maharatnas and Navratnas companies.

Aspirants who have a Under-Graduate engineering degree/Post Graduation degree are eligible to apply for GATE Exam.But for getting Jobs in Navratnas and Maharatnas companies through GATE score card,eligibility required is as follows :

• Candidates minimum age should be 21 years and should not be above 35 years.
• Candidates minimum marks in Undergraduate engineering degree/Post graduation degree should be 60%.

To apply for GATE Exam,aspirants have to only fulfill the academic qualification eligibility and it is as follows :

GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD),Government of India.

M.Tech course is Post graduate course.The course of M.Tech duration is 2 years.The two years are further divided into two half yearly semesters each.

Eligibility Criteria:

M.Tech stands for Master of Technology. This is a 2 year Post Graduate program in technical stream being offered by many of the colleges in India.

The minimum academic qualification that is required for the candidates in order to join M.Tech course is by completion of Graduation in Engineering.

No minimum percentage of marks are required for the candidates in order to apply for Entrance Exam but better if you have scored 60% of marks in your Engineering course.
