The course is a relatively new one. However a number of leading engineering colleges and universities in India have already incorporated it in their list. This course is a must for all the aspirants of professional qualifications in the field of Very Large Scale Integrated Design.

Eligibility

The criteria for eligibility entail Bachelors in Engineering or a B.tech with at least a minimum percentage of 60. The students should also appear for an entrance examination and a personal interview. Candidates appearing for their final degree exam / final semester exam in the current year are also eligible to apply.

Course Outlook

It is a two year course comprising of theory and practical session and examination in each semester. Students need a minimum of 60 % to gain a competitive edge. Some colleges also offer placement opportunities to the deserving candidates.

VLSI Design happens to be an emerging field. The scope for students pursuing this particular course lies in prestigious companies in India as well as overseas.
