Respected Sir, I want to apply for UP PCS exam so I want to know what is the eligibility criteria required for a General Category candidate to apply for UP PCS exam? What is the age limit to apply for the UP PCS exam? Please answer as soon as possible.

Eligibility criteria for UP Provincial Civil Services examination:

1. You must have done bachelor's degree from a recognized university. Final year graduation candidates can also apply for the examination.

2. Age limit for general category candidate is 21-40 years. Three years upper age relaxation to OBC and five years to SC/ST candidates.

Eligibility for UP PCS
> Candidate must be of minimum 21 years old and maximum 40 years old.
> Candidate must be graduate from recognized university and for different post there is different eligibility criteria like:
Post Qualification
* Sub Registrar (Transport Law Graduate
* Dist. Horticulture officer Science Graduate in Horticulture
* Dist. BSA Post Graduate
* Dist. Cane Officer Agriculture Graduate
* Asst Controller (Legal) Degree in science with physics or mechanical engineering
* Dist. Probation Officer Post Graduate in Psychology or Sociology
* Statistical Officer Post Graduate in Mathematics.

## Exam fees for unreserved category is Rs 115.

UP PCS stands for Uttar Pradesh Provincial Civil Services examination. The eligibility criteria for General category candidate is:

Academic qualification required is graduation. Final year graduation candidates can also apply for 2017 UP PCS examination.

Age limit for general category candidate is 21-40 years. There is no upper age relaxation for general category candidate in case of UP PCS examination. Notification for 2017 UP PCS exam is yet to be published.
