Re: What is the eligibility followed for lectureship?
No, you are not eligible for NET with 54.75 % marks in M.A. because the minimum required percentage to appear for NET is 55% in PG without rounding off.
NET stands for National Eligibility Test . NET exam is conducted by UGC (university grant commission) twice a year in the month of June and September . The eligibility criteria for NET exam are as under:- -The candidate must be an Indian. -The candidate should have completed Masters degree or equivalent examination with at least 55% of marks (without rounding off) from universities / institutions recognized by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. Final year appearing student can also apply for the exam. -The candidate belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories must have secured at least 55% of marks (without rounding off) in Masters degree. -The candidates appearing for JRF should not be more than 28 years of age. The candidates appearing only for lectureship have no upper age limit. Age relaxation of 5 years will be given to SC/ST/OBC or physically disabled or women or visually handicapped. |

Re: What is the eligibility followed for lectureship?
According to my information 55% aggregate marks is needed to be eligible to write NET.
Candidate must be a holder of Master degree with 55% marks. Therw is no age limit to write and qualify NET examination. Candidate which comes under reservation category they will get preference in their marks that is why if you are under reservation category you are eligible. If you are under general category then it will be difficult to write entrance exam and it is also possible that you are rejected by filling up forms. |
