What is the eligibility for M.Sc Forensic Science or Criminology?
Is there is any chance for me to study M.Sc Forensic Science or Criminology? I have studied B.Sc in Medical-Bio and Nanotechnology. Will there be any entrance exam requirement as well?

To apply for a post-graduation in Forensic sciences or criminology you need to have a graduation degree in science/ engineering/ pharmacy or medicine.
You need to have atleast 60% marks in aggregate in your graduation. Also, your degree should be from a recognized university. Since your graduation is in medical biology you can easily apply for master degree in forensic sciences. |

The eligibility for M.Sc Forensic Science or Criminology is given below.
** Candidate should have passed bachelor of science from a recognized university. SUBJECTS REQUIRED: Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Biochemistry, Microbiology etc. ** The admission of applicants will be done on the basis of a written examination or Percentage marks of Graduation course. ** The duration of M.Sc Forensic Science or Criminology course is 2 years. |

Yes it is possible to pursue M.Sc in forensic Science or Criminology.
There is no any restriction in pursuing this after passing B.Sc in Medical-Bio and Nanotechnology. You have to clear entrance examination to get admission in any of the colleges. Entrance examinations are conducted by every school itself before admission. Eligibility criteria are as follows:- Candidate must have passed their graduation from a recognized university in any of the stream. Candidate must have scored at least 50% aggregate in their graduation. |

Candidate having bachelor degree in relevant disciplines such as engineering, pharmacy. Criminology, Forensic Science and Science are eligible to pursue this course.
Minimum aggregate required is 45%- 55% and it varies from one college to another. |

The basic eligiblity criteria to study M.Sc in Forensic Science is a bachelor degree in Physics, Chemistry, Forensic Science or in relevant discipline. You have to get more than 55% marks in Graduation to get admission in good University.
As you completed M.Sc in Medical Bio and Nanotechnology, I think Universities will take your subject relevant of Science. So you are eligible to study M.sc in Forensic Science. |
